I have a Master's degree in Social Work and am a registered counselor in the State of Washington with more than 30 years working with individuals on issues relating to loss, depression, anxiety, shame, and self-esteem. I provide individual therapy for adults. My overriding goal is to help you find peace of mind and improve your sense of well-being.
I am also trained as a Registered Dietitian and am interested in helping you find mental and physical health and ease. I can also use traditional Andean practices that can help you step away from old stories and patterns, and work towards self-acceptance.
I provide counseling for managing anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, shame, and self esteem. I work effectively with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety or find themselves in a crisis or taking care of others. Counseling strengthens insight and provides support to cope with long-standing emotional issues and can influence what we eat and how we care for ourselves.
Sessions are 55 minutes, with the first session being an opportunity to get to know you and gather information regarding your concerns around your emotional and physical well-being.
I accept Regence, Premera, Kaiser Permanente, and First Choice and bill other insurance companies as an out-of-network provider.
